consultation meeting on proposed smallholder oil palm project at Adum Banso and Adum Dominase. The final consultation meeting was held at the Mpohor district assembly to bring all the findings by the Proforest together and also share among the parties involved
The project was on the release of lands by the people of Adum Banso and Adum Dominase to Benso Oil Palm Plantation (Bopp) . The Company will be releasing oilpalm seedlings and other resources as well as extension services to the farmers to improve upon their method of farming. This will bring profits to the farmers since the company will again buy the farm products direct from them. So the meeting purposely was held to finalize and address any challenges and misunderstanding.
